Hess Ornamental Iron, Inc. wins the 2018 bronze Ernest Weimann Top Job Award in the “Interior Railings - Ferrous, Nonforged” category last night in Phoenix Arizona!!!
The project for which “Hess Iron” received the award is the interior railing work for The Rare Steakhouse, a newly opened restaurant in Washington DC. The project featured Iron guardrails with a bronze handrail. Antique finish applied to the Iron and a darkened patina applied on the brushed bronze handrail.
This award comes six years after their very first win, the 2012 Silver Ernest Weimann Top Job Award. Since HOI first national award in 2012 they have won the Gold in 2016 and a Bronze 2017.
The 2018 Ernest Weimann Top Job Awards were presented at a awards banquet on February 9th, 2018 at METALfab 2018 conference in Phoenix, Arizona.


METALfab 2018 is an annual conference organized by NOMMA, the National Ornamental and Miscellaneous Metals Association, founded in 1958.
The winners are determined by a vote from over 600 attending peers in ornamental metals, a group which includes some of the oldest and most respected businesses in the industry.
Hess Ornamental Iron was featured in the July / August 2012 issue of Ornamental and Miscellaneous Metal Fabricator for their Silver award win in Orlando in 2012.
